Recently I attended Content Marketing World with over 1,000 other passionate marketing and business professionals. The topic was content marketing and how to effectively deploy content strategies.
Found this excellent Forbes article about curation from @BrennerMichael on Twitter. You know content curation has hit the big time when you see such a well thought out article in a major publication like Forbes. This isn’t just a, « trend is happening » article this is advocacy. Advocacy only happens by majors once tipping points are in the rearview mirror.
I missed Content Marketing World this year, but there were less than a thousand there last year and I thought that to, the conference’s attendance, was a sign the tipping point on content curation was behind us. The fact Forbes was there and reported on it is double jeopardy.
